How this backup utility handles data.
Effective November 7, 2026. Operator: Adistirom SRL. This policy covers Adistirom n8n Backup, an internal application intended for use by authorized administrators.
1. Purpose
The application is designed to store and recover encrypted backup archives from an internally operated n8n automation environment. It is not a public application and does not provide user registration.
2. Google account access
When an administrator authorizes Google Drive access, the application requests the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file permission. It uses this authorization to create, read, update and delete the backup files it creates or that the administrator explicitly makes available to it. It does not require unrestricted access to the user's personal Google Drive.
3. Data processed
Depending on the contents of the n8n environment, encrypted backups may contain workflow definitions, execution-related metadata, configuration, the n8n database and credential material protected by n8n's own encryption. Because workflows can process business information, backup archives may include personal data or other confidential information. Access tokens and backup credentials are maintained on the administrator-controlled infrastructure and are not published on this website.
4. Storage and security
The intended backup process encrypts archives before they are transferred to Google Drive. Backups are stored in the Google account designated by the administrator. The original service runs on infrastructure managed by Adistirom; Google Drive provides off-server storage. Access to backup archives and authorization credentials is restricted to authorized administrators. Backup encryption and restore testing must be completed before the service is considered operational.
5. Use, sharing and retention
Google Drive data is used only for backup, integrity checking, recovery and retention management. It is not sold, used for advertising or shared with unrelated third parties. Google processes stored data as the cloud-storage provider, and the infrastructure provider hosts the source service. Backup copies are retained according to the organization's configured retention schedule, which will be established before automated backups are activated. Authorized administrators can delete backup files when no longer required.
6. Revoking access and deletion
An administrator may revoke this application's Google authorization through their Google Account security settings. Existing backup files can be deleted through the authorized Google Drive account, subject to applicable retention obligations. Revoking access prevents future operations but does not automatically remove files already stored.
7. Website information
This informational website uses no application-side analytics, tracking scripts or advertising cookies. Cloudflare, as the website hosting and delivery provider, may process basic connection information for delivery, abuse prevention and security according to its service practices.
8. Contact and policy changes
For privacy or access requests, contact Adistirom SRL using the support email address identified on the application's Google OAuth consent screen. This policy will be revised if the actual backup architecture, retention period or data-handling practices materially change.
